Floresville is a city with the look and feel of an old Texas town.  It’s restored facades and buildings, special events and planned projects keep the heart of the City alive and beckoning to visitors.  Stop in the restored 1920’s era Arcadia Theater with three screens showing the latest first run movies, stop at the Firehouse B and Bistro located in the restored city firehouse; eat at the White House Café and original 19th century café and bar; take a look at Big Dan’s, an original south Texas cantina with a bar straight out of the old west and if you feel like dancing country or Tejano, stop at Roper’s on US 181.  Go to an original ice house road stop to meet friends at Junior’s.  Frankie’s, the newest sports bar and grill in the city, is a great place for a little pool, a place to watch your favorite team or come to try your best singing during karakoe on Friday and Saturday.
